I would make a similar statement but you’re the only one I know who cares about quality theater. Lima doesn’t deserve us.

As our production draws to a close, I have a few things to say:
First off, I am honored to have been your lead for this period of time and to display my talents to the entirety of Lima. It was a long, hard road getting there, but I’m confident that all of our effort paid off tremendously. If you simply cannot get enough of my acting prowess—or, if, like some people, you never made it to Oklahoma! in the first place—have no fear, because come springtime, I’ll be dazzling the Lima community theater stage once again. Thanks to everybody who helped make my work a success! I won’t forget you soon.

Really? I mean, yeah, that would be okay. It’s not like I have anything better to do, most of the time.

Not irrelevant. We still gave Lima theatergoers an unforgettable experience. But it will be strange not to have somewhere to go most nights.
I mean…you’re welcome to accompany me on my patrols once my schedule goes back to something a little bit more normal. I should be out and about during what would have been rehearsal time.

Who said either of us were young? When you get to be this old none of that matters.
